Playing the crying card

Why oh why did Hillary start crying when asked how she deals with it all on the campaign trail? I believe that a woman as visible in the public eye as herself would be used to the pressure, negativity and attention enough so that she could at least hold it in long enough to excuse herself.

I'm going to answer my own question here- I know exactly why Hillary started crying.
1: Polls previous to New Hampshire's 1/8 primary showed that Hillary was trailing Barack Obama by 10%.
2: Some reports stated that Hillary was advised to drop out of the race after finishing 3rd in Iowa.

= She was desperate. She knew she had to do something drastic. So she did what none of the male candidates could ever, ever do. Cry.

And it worked! I'm sure thousands of NH residents fell for it, and sensing something along the lines of genuineness, gave her a pity vote.

I just don't believe it was genuine. Her response was so eloquent that I doubt that any person full of emotion could craft an answer quite like that.

By the way, here's what she said:

"It's not easy. It's not easy. And I couldn't do it if I just didn't, you know, passionately believe it was the right thing to do," she said, her voice catching. You know, I've had so many opportunities from this country, I just don't want to see us fall backwards, I see what's happening, and we have to reverse it. And some people think elections are a game. They think it's like who's up or who's down. It's about our country. It's about our kids' futures. And it's really about all of us together. Some of us put ourselves out there and do this against some pretty difficult odds. And we do it, each one of us, because we care about our country. But some of us are right and some of us are wrong. Some of us are ready and some of us are not. Some of us know what we will do on day one, and some of us haven't really thought that through enough."
